Elk Lake High School: Earned three varsity letters for the Warriors under coach Marc Weisgold…won two PIAA state medals in the 400 meters…placed sixth as a senior…twice finished as a district runner-up in the 400 meters…also competed in volleyball and cheerleading.

Personal: Full name is Cassie Marie VanEtten…is the daughter of Karen VanEtten…majoring in biology with a focus on pre-chiropractic work…has four siblings who are all involved in athletics, Kylie, Kati, Jennifer and Julie.
