MANSFIELD, Pa. - Shippensburg University baseball sophomore
Jimmy Miller was named a first team selection at pitcher on the 2010 ABCA/Rawlings “Gold Glove” Atlantic Region team Wednesday by the Atlantic Regional committee. Miller's citation marks the sixth time a Red Raider has been named a regional “Gold Glove” selection in the past three seasons under head coach
Matt Jones.
Miller, who played multiple positions during his second season at Shippensburg, yielded a perfect fielding percentage in 38 games including 49.2 innings as a pitcher.
Shippensburg was one of 11 teams represented on the regional “Gold Glove” team, including 11 selections from seven PSAC-member schools.
