The Lady Raider quartet won the event, besting a Division I-laden field that included Ohio State, Connecticut, Buffalo and Tennessee. The performance was less than one second off the school record that was set last season when Shippensburg won the national championship with a meet record of 11:24.54. Friday's run was also more than 20 seconds faster than the automatic qualifying mark and actually served as a Division I provisional mark.
