SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - Shippensburg women's lacrosse junior Gayle Kuntzmann was recently recognized by womenslacrosse.com as a Division II honorable mention athlete for her performances in two games last week.

In an 11-7 victory over Kutztown on April 8, Kuntzmann scored one goal and tallied one assist with three ground balls, two draw controls and five caused turnovers. The following game, a 12-7 victory over Indiana (Pa.), she netted two goals with five ground balls and four caused turnovers.

For the week she had three goals, eight groundballs, and nine caused turnovers.
