SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Shippensburg University Field Hockey is holding a series of free fall instructional clinics for youths in grades 3-12. The clinics are in honor of Amanda Strous and her passion for playing, teaching, and coaching the sport of field hockey.
The first camp is this Friday, September 9, from 7-8 p.m. Additional dates are Friday, September 23 and Friday, October 7 -- both to be held from 7-8 p.m.
All of the clinics will be held at Robb Sports Complex on the campus of Shippensburg University.
All attendees are asked to bring your stick, mouth guard, shin guards, turf shoes and a water bottle. Goalies must also provide their own equipment.
This clinics will be directed by NFHCA Hall of Fame head coach
Bertie Landes. Coach Landes encourages attendees to come join the fun and either learn the game of field hockey or fine tune the skills needed to be successful on the field.
