The Shippensburg University men's indoor track & field team won its sixth consecutive conference championship on Sunday, scoring 212 points, while the Shippensburg University women's indoor track & field team finished second with 117 points, in competition held over two days at Edinboro University.
The complete results of the 2016 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Indoor Championships are listed above. Team scores are listed below.
Shippensburg had a clean sweep of the men's awards. Junior
Kieran Sutton was named the PSAC Championships Track MVP after winning the mile, 3K and anchoring the first-place distance medley relay. Senior
LeQuan Chapman was named the PSAC Championships Field MVP for winning the long jump and triple jump. Senior
Grant Smith was named the PSAC Championships Overall MVP after setting a meet record in winning the shot put and finishing second in the weight throw.Â
