SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. - For the entire 2010-11 academic year, Shippensburg University will be celebrating 'Raider Day' every Friday. Everyone on the Shippensburg campus is encouraged to wear any and all types of Raider clothing and or apparel that emphasizes our red and blue colors.

Shippensburg is very proud of its 140-year history. As Raider Day continues to grow, it is hoped that the Ship community will begin programs that reward faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends who wear their red and blue gear on Fridays.

This Friday, September 3 is College Colors Day. Shippensburg men's soccer will be kicking off its 2010 season with the first day of the Second Annual Red Raider Classic, facing No. 7 Charleston at 7:30 p.m. Before that contest, the SU women's soccer team will be opening its season at 5 p.m. against Charleston. Both matches will be held at David See Field.
